From 25 to 27 June, the EU-ROK Aviation Partnership Project (APP) organised a workshop on the subject of safety culture and data collection, to discuss key principles of safety culture and how these are applied in the context of the European and Korean aviation industries. This event took place in Seoul, Republic of Korea (ROK), and was attended to by more than 100 representatives from authorities and airlines (onsite as well as online).

Over the course of the three days, European and Korean experts discussed various topics important to a robust safety culture including practical implementation, CEO assessment, the measurement of safety culture, safety occurrence reporting systems from authority and operator perspectives, and the European Risk Classification Scheme, among others. In addition to the experts representing the European and Korean authorities, other contributors were from Korean Air, Air France and Asiana Airlines.
